The Flora Culture helped turn me into a plant person. The staff is so nice and knowledgeable, and told me what plants would work for my skill level and where I planned to put them in my home. Gorgeous pots and accessories too! I have been going to both locations since they opened and will continue to do so as the space in my home allows!

Super cute plant shop. I’ve visited majority of the main stream plant shops in Houston, and though I have my favs, this one will be added to my list when I’m looking for more unique plants. I do believe some pricing can be high and you can find cheaper prices and larger sizes (honorable mention to Cornelius Nursery), so again, I’d go here exclusively for the unique variety, but if you’re getting something basic, elsewhere would be more sensible. I was not greeted when I walked in or at all during my short (5 minute) walkthrough but the ladies inside seemed friendly and helpful. Parking lot can be full due to the bakery next door but it was plenty of parking available when I went (Saturday around noon). It was very succulent heavy, but I loved the larger plants and wish I had the space to justify them.

I brought in an orchid (I inherited from my mother-in-law when she passed away) for repotting services. The staff treated me, and the orchid, with kindness, compassion, and gentleness. The shop is beautiful, the plant selection is second to none, and the staff is amazing. I look forward to my next visit

What makes this shop so special goes beyond the beautiful greenery — it’s the heart behind it. Jem, the owner, clearly pours so much care into her brand and her team. You can feel it in the way the shop is run and in how every team member treats you like more than just a customer. It never fails — every time I visit, the staff are not only kind and helpful, but genuinely excited to chat, share plant knowledge, and help you grow your own little oasis. Whether you're just browsing or on the hunt for something specific, they make the experience personal, inspiring, and fun. This spot is a must-visit for plant lovers or anyone craving a beautiful, calming space with even better people behind it.

We took in a ceramic bowl we bought at the Empty Bowls fundraiser benefitting the Houston Food Bank. Expert advice on plant selection and building the bowl for us. He skillfully drilled a hole in the bowl for drainage. Highly recommend this place for the excellent customer service, plant selection, suggestions, and the relaxing Oasis vibe. Stools at the counter to relax and watch the magic. ✨️💚 Support Local. 💚
